I got nominated awhile ago by Becca (@ Becoming Adorrable) to participate in the Tour Through Blog Land and what do you know, I just seem to be getting around to it now! 'Tis life :) But I love hearing what other bloggers' writing processes look like so I'm still going to join in today, even if I am a little late to the party!
1 || What am I working on?
Currently, I just seem to be working on making time to consistently write in general. With all the hustle and bustle of life (and especially around the holidays) it isn't always easy to prioritize writing and other activities that fuel our mind and soul. I guess more specifically I host a link-up (with Becca and Melissa) called Blogger Men Tell All that you can read more about here.
2 || How does my work differ from others in its genre?
Honestly, what is my genre? If I knew what genre I fit into I may be better-prepared to answer this question. Then again, why do we feel a need to fit into a group or label ourselves. I have a blog, and I like it - don't really care what group I fit in or how my work is unique. I'm me, isn't that unique enough?
3 || Why do I write/create what I do?
I never thought I would enjoy writing as much as I do. I started a blog because I was like hey, that looks cool - how hard can it be? (famous last words). It's definitely not easy but it's definitely worth it. I truly have come to enjoy sitting at my computer and writing from my heart - I guess that's why I do it.
4 || How does my writing/creative process work?
Plan plan plan. And when you don't have a plan, wing it. If you've been around these parts for awhile you know I like a plan, and planners, and talking about the plan...and talking about my planner :) When a post idea or thought comes to me I either write it down or type it in the notes on my iPhone before the idea is gone. I then write this post when I feel like it, sometimes starting, stopping, and saving as a draft along the way. And I use my everyday planner to plan out blog posts for the upcoming week. But that's just because I like a plan :)
