A Girl's Weekend For The Books

I know it's Tuesday but I had such a great weekend (topped off with turning 26 on Sunday) I just have to write the usual weekend recap post, so bear with me :) Think of it as a little game of Caption That - photo, caption, photo caption, and on and on and on...

A few weeks ago I planned to take Friday off for a girl's shopping weekend we had planned and Parker had another hockey weekend so we headed out Thursday afternoon, dropped him off in Grand Forks, and I continued on to Fargo (not the tv show).
Thursday night my dad's buddy's band played at the Ho Do downtown - great blues music and helloooo, lemondrop martini!
My mom and I headed to the cities Friday morning and spent the afternoon walking around some shops and getting pedicures. My future sister-in-law and her mom got there later that night and the four of us went to dinner with my aunt and uncle where we sipped martinis, talked about plucking hairs, and came up with our Saturday plan. I had the most delicious sea bass, finished off with a red velvet cupcake topped with a sparkler.

This would be the M.O.B. and M.O.G. at the M.O.A. Witty, huh?

Saturday the four of us girls hit the Mall of America to find wedding day dresses for the 2 moms. 7+ hours of shopping and the martini lunch made for quite the day.

We headed home on Sunday, had a little birthday dinner, and I actually worked from Fargo on Monday so I'm just getting home to my hubby today. Sure am lovin' the rainy, dreary, unmotivating weather. But, it's better than snow. That's me, always looking at the bright side.
