Warning: If this isn't a photo dump I don't know what is!
Summer has been fabulous and weather has been beautiful. If you're not from around here, you may not know that ND's winter season is extremely long and cold and a little depressing. (a.k.a. I take Vitamin D supplements during it.) People always seem to wonder why the heck true ND-ans tough it out and actually choose to live here. In June, July, August, September, and (at times) October they get their answer. Our summer and early fall seasons are beautiful, especially if you're lucky enough to have a lake place to spend time at. There is heat, sunshine, nice breezes, cool evenings, clean lakes - perfect weather for tanning, swimming, skiing, and roasting marshmallows if you ask me!
So if you're wondering why the heck I haven't been making frequent updates or leaving comments in blogland, that's your answer people. Beautiful ND summer weather comes but once a year and I have been soaking up as much as possible!
Below, you'll see what I've been up to. The quick & dirty version: We attended a wedding. I've been training for a half marathon. I found some new yummy eats + drinks. We've been at the lake nearly every weekend. My brother got engaged! We went to the ND State Fair for the first time.
