We finally got around to some cliche October activities this weekend! Saturday was a nice, fall day - a little cool (and by a little cool, I mean in the 40s), but not too windy and full of warm sunshine. We didn't even know of a nearby pumpkin patch yet since we're still kind of new around here, but we turned to google, found a local place, and hit it up Saturday afternoon. We walked through the corn maze, watched the cutie-pie kids playing on the haystacks, and bought some pumpkins. It was so fun spending a Saturday afternoon not doing things that we have to do.
Note to self: forget the to-do list and just have fun more often. Now all we need to do is carve them sometime within the next 3 days before Halloween season is already done.
The 40s is a little cool?? I'd say that's a lot cool! ;) Looks like so much fun! I love trying to do all the seasonal activities; it makes life a little more festive!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like such a cute pumpkin farm!! The carving is the best part! Low keys weekends are the best, i just had one too and so relaxing!
